Remove the Irish Times Paywall!

I don’t like the way The Irish Times is being short sighted and maintaining a paywall. In keeping with their recent redesign and expansion, they should now do the obvious next step and remove their subscription only areas of ireland.com. I’ve heard grumblings and rumours for ages on the possibility of the paywall being dropped, make it a reality! - The huge leap in readership would lead to increases in ad revenue, or at least, that’s the theory. The New York Times did it. The Wall Street Journal is probably going to make their paywall even more expensive, but that’s just Rupert Murdoch being insane. The information wants to be free. Tear down the paywall, dig into the online ad revenue. Let’s go!
