The Big Word Project

The Big Word Project

The Big Word Project is redefining words. You pick a word and link it to your website. Your website is then the new definition.

So the idea is that you go to the web site, search for a word you want, and then it costs you $1 per letter to register. It’s run by two Northern Irish students (that’s them on the left), and seems to be succeeding in a very Million Dollar Homepage kind of way.

They’re about to be featured in Wired, and that will no doubt mean it’s going to explode.

The bad news? Jazz is already taken. Biscuit is available, but I don’t have $7 to hand.

Expect a gazillion imitations in the next few weeks.
