A gay Irish-American has officially complained to Poland after its president used images of him and his partner in a national speech to warn against homosexual marriage.

It’s always awkward when it turns out one of our European neighbours throws up something like this that underlines the giant differences there are in attitudes, despite our closeness.

Great piece on The Daily Show the other night about how politicians always seem to rail against the thing they lust for the most (Spitzer, Foley etc.)

Is an Irish-American someone who was born in Ireland or the US? Cos Brendan is from Drogheda (I’m straining my vowels while typing it of course!!)
