Gerard ‘The Monk’ Hutch on Primetime

Gerard ‘The Monk’ Hutch

How did he get started? He stole a bottle of lemonade off the back of a truck when he was 8.

Lucozade stealing is such a gateway crime.

Also, entrepreneurs watch his how to become a millionaire tips:
- Get your ankle broken while in prison.
- Hope a securicor van backs into you.

It’s great watching Paul Reynolds trying to break him down.

I don’t admire armed robbery in general… but that was a good armed robbery.

How do you feel about the people who had the guns put in their faces? Who were told that their heads would be blown off that day?

Yeah… that’s not nice.

RTÉ have the full interview up in (cack!) Real Player format. Where’s the embed button?

I’m not prone to RTÉ, due to the fact that I like a regular blood-pressure rate.

    But Real Player?

Maybe we should start an online petition. lol

Look Gerry Hutch is someone us Lower Class people look up to.. He knows how hard and fucked up it is too live in proverty stricken areas like buckenham street and Ballymun etc… With all the money he gets he gives back to areas like this and kids. He’s also a sound bloke to talk to and I say Fair Play to him. He done what he had to do to survive in this life and we all love him for it. If there was more people giving their own money to set up boxing clubs for kids in Dublin there probably would be less kids on Drugs etc… I KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT.
