Well. Are you? AreYouUpForIt.ie, is a new web site aimed at getting Irish kids interested in technology careers. It’s poochieness is off the scale, but hey it’s for a good cause so let’s give it a chance.

It has all sorts of positive info on technology, and some good profiles of successful technology types on it’s champions page, and the future predictor is sufficiently bebo-quiz like to keep their rapt attention for 8 seconds.

Allow me to put on my interweb nerd hat for a moment and say FAIL on this though:

So yep, they have a cool bit for web developers on the careers page. And when you click on that web development link to get more info?

It’s quite apt, considering that dealing with quotes will be something that aspiring web developers will have to grasp pretty damn fast.

In conclusion: good cause, slightly dubious implementation. AreYouUpForIt.ie.
