Colin Murphy has a new show

colin_murphy

It’s called Colin Murphy’s Great Unanswered Questions.

What do you get if you put two comedians, a whiz on the internet and a very brainy scientist into a room? Not much sense but a fair few laughs.

In this new series Colin Murphy and his cohorts will take on the most ridiculous of questions and try to provide either the correct or at least a funny answer.

Sounds great. Though I’m genuinely dissapointed that it’s on the radio. Could work well on TV no?

The official BBC page
. (I got a very polite female voice telling me that the audio was unavailable when I tried to listen via the iPlayer. Geographic restrictions?)

Alan in Belfast was at a recording of one of the recent shows.

Try a different Listen Again address.

Interesting idea - doing it on TV … would spoil the illusion that they make it all up as they go along. You’d see the boffin’s cheat notes, and they’d need to be more careful about swigging from beer bottles!

It’s really to static for TV - slouched on soft chairs. Might spoil the feel of a rambling chat in the pub if they tinkered with the format.
