It’s a jazz shaped interweb

- Go to the Sunday World web site and roll over the ad at the top to reveal the most earnest video ever, of crime correspondent Paul Williams putting it up to the mobsters of Ireland. Found via my little piebald. (Subscribe: mylittlepiebald@gmail.com)
- Youtube: The World Cyber Games Ireland event.
- New blog at The Irish Times: Outside In by Bryan Mukandi, who has his own web site, here. What’s with the annoyingly tiny type on the new Irish Times blog sites?
- More Youtube: Crap camera phone footage edited together of Irish kids fighting. Lovely.
- This interview with Sophie Merry was worthwhile.
- 20 year old Irish guy shot dead in the States. We should have had our own don’t tase me dude instead of this tragedy.
- Universal broadband access by 2010? Possibly, but check Mulley’s picking apart of the plan here.
- Movies.ie have an advance screening of The Dark Knight you can win tickets for.
- Was the following short short ad really nominated at Cannes? Didn’t find a reference to it after a quick google search:

Why does Paul McWilliams look so much like Julian Clary in that video?
Jaysus. I know the waiter in that ad.
I’m going to have to hit him next time I see him.
I like the fact that Paul Williams appears to be standing in a rip in the space-time continuum as the rest of Dublin speeds along in double time.
This mastery of time and space could be used to take on the thugs, he could sneak around in this sub-dimension as they all whizz about, and write down clues in his notebook.
I should write a letter to him.
Never mind Paul Williams.
The real exclusive is here: http://www.sundayworld.com/showbiz/champagne-kisses-extract.php

……..and I said ‘ Top bunk or bottom bunk boys !
