• The Department of Education is considering a return of third level fees. I’ve always liked pointing out our free education system. But what the hell is the solution? Speaking of education, the helpline for Leaving Cert students has opened, just ahead of the results which are due this week. I did a shit leaving cert, and got offered none of my chosen places on the CAO. And wow, take a look at me now. Also on the subject, are the smart kids jumping ship to the UK to get to study things they can’t get into here?
