Nothing at aerlateness.com just yet, but a message:
Coming soon, a db of late flight information for aerlingus as updated by twitter users.
Here’s the on time stats for 1st June 2008 to July 31st from FlightStats.com:
Did you know that Dublin is the second least punctual airport across Europe after Heathrow? I assume that Aerlateness.com will accurately document the actual cause of all delays: It will document how often that the delay is actually the fault of aer lingus alone and not the result of the interwoven factors involved. Just over half the time, according to June 2008 statistics, its due to the airline:

The last 2 aer lingus flights i was on were ahead of schedule..
but i should add i fly about once a decade.
Hey, I’ll fly Aerlingus in preference to Ryanair anytime. And statistics provice specious information without knowledge of the method of gathering and computation.
I presume those “on time” figures include the already padded schedule times. I.e. it doesn’t take 1h20m to fly Dublin to Stanstead, but Ryanair say flight time is that. The actual flight time is closer to 50+ minutes gate to gate.
“Ryanair are pleased to announce the arrival of … ahead of schedule”. Yeah right!
