JC Decaux and ridiculous signage
It’s been all over boards.ie the last few days, and now an enterprising individual has made a video about them:

eBoy make awesome pixel art representations of world cities, and their version of Dublin is part of a Coke ad. Be cool if they release the full poster de-cokerised.
Full pic is up on flickr here.
Found at the awesome le craic.

The new(ish) birdseye view for Dublin on Microsoft’s Live Search Maps is pretty damned cool.

With the whole Irish interBloggoForaSolicophere engaged in all out war, it’s important that we avoid being libellous and stick to the fluffy stuff. So here’s a nice safe story, a competition to name a baby elephant at Dublin Zoo. No doubt in two days time someone will blow the whole FILTHY ELEPHANT SEX RING DISCOVERED AT DUBLIN ZOO story wide open, but for now, at least. It’s just a cute little elephant.
Normally, I despise youtube blurry vids of concerts - generally you can’t hear anything, and the video is a mush. But that’s changing as we all upgrade to N95 this and iJazz that. And hell, it’s god damned Slash:
Slash solo part 1
Slash solo part 2
Slash just beat life. That’s right, he just won the whole thing by doing that.
Jazz Biscuit just got sent a few photos of the Anonymous vs. Scientology protest this morning in Dublin by a friend:
Hey, I was cycling through town and I caught the tale end of the anon protest thing. This was at about 2.30, and if as your site says it was on at 12 then I guess people were probably mostly gone when I was there. looked like the lads doin it were enjoying it though.

Hmm, I’m going to give this a thumbs up, if only because we need more of this kind of thing coming out of Ireland. It’s tacky alright, but if we’re ever going to make that full blown movie starring me where I get to battle with Martin McGuinesses(eses) and Ian Paisley’s labratory created genetically engineered super love child with my John Gormley clone army we need to get this special effects shit sorted out quickly.
Edit: For those who are wondering, yes, it will include a Matrix:Reloaded-esque scene where thousands of John Gormleys attack Ian Paisely.
Someone I know actually saw this, and hadn’t a clue what was going on.
It was for the Nokia Young fashion Designer competition.
