• RTE’s News Now shows Killnascully? There is certainly a few kinks to be ironed out.
• Le Craic points us to The Apprentice Ireland; tv3.theapprenticeireland.com, which at the moment is a half finished blog.
• Airappz are offering to install wifi on Irish Rail at no charge to them. How much will the consumer pay? I don’t trust names where the S has been replaced with a Z. Their web site is fairly poor, and a bit vacant.

Are the horrendously bad typos creeping in all over Jazz Biscuit posts annoying anyone else as much as they are annoying me? All I can do is apologise. As time goes on I’m getting worse, not better. Monday links kaboom:

• RTE have a good thorough section up on the Lisbon treaty. And *GASP* some of the videos are in flash!
• The Miss Universe Ireland 2008 web site is awful. Lili Forberg’s photos of Nadia, an entrant (pictured above), are not awful. Lili is a shit hot photographer. We already covered miss universe uk. This is important stuff people.
• Blather.net are bringing out a book.
• Could Ireland’s poos return to a lighter shade for a week or two?
• Dublin city public libraries are updating their facebook page with all sorts of jazz. (Found at Alexia Golez’s blog.)
• Super hero blogger Justin from taint.org works out his commute by bicycle in terms of jaffa cake consumption. Remember kids: Cool people drive nice cars. Superheroes cycle.

Fair play to RTÉ on St. Patricks Day. It can’t be easy hoisting a camera in the face of the lovely public and asking them what they think on the one day where they are most likely to say something ridiculous. And they’ve gone the extra mile, with www.rte.ie/stpatricks, where you can view all their reports from all their parades around the country. -10 points for using real player, but hey at least they got the media up there.

The level of political comment filtering through to the parades was great to see, with floats of pharmacists beating up Mary Harney and several Taoiseach’s throwing brown envelopes into the crowds. It is funny too, how we all laugh along with it, and the man in charge ignores it all and keeps on trucking. Stall the Ball has some related pictures on this theme. (found via Captain Mulley.)

The video is in Flash! Not Realplayer! That aside, the whole DEIS thing is welcome, if long over due. It’s good to see they are at least aware of the changing landscape. The promo video is a little full of people being over enthused at mobile video, but hey, at least they’re talking about it.
