  1. Shiny new techo-blag IrishGeeks.com has got itself a make over and was well worth checking out before the make over but now that it’s had the make over it’s still worth checking out, purple monkey dishwasher.
  2. The Chancer, (we love them, we’re hoping they’ll ask us out.) rules the roost with their caption competitions, of which Jazz Biscuit just can’t help contributing.
  3. The Irish Times super blagger Shane Hegarty comments on the launch of a new Humanist magazine, wondering why they couldn’t have got a better title.
  4. And finally, a bit of a techy one, but on new blag Contrast, (from Irish ultra-web-designer Eoghan McCabe), states the obvious and points out that Search Engine Optomisation is bullshit, and creates a comment storm.

  2. There’s an apple store in Ireland! In Belfast! Go and spend too much money now!
  3. RTE’s David Murphy wins an award at the Transport Journalism Awards. But it’s only runner-up. Fearghal O’Connor of Business and Finance takes the top prize for the fourth year in a row. Patience, David. Everyone knows the Transport Journalism awards are all politics. Keep on truckin’, stay in the driving seat, don’t take the wrong road, live life in the fast lane…
  4. Someone just updated The Night of the Iguana wikipedia page. It’s a play by Tennessee Williams. Anyway, anonymous Irish wikipedia updater has the definitive word on the matter: Its all A bag of shite really.
  5. Shots fired at pirates holding Irishman. Unfortunately, it’s not funny at all, it’s the case of Irish man Fred Parle, currently being held by Somali pirates.
