Correctly marketing a large festival to kids is not easy. Oxygen apparently is filled with scobes, and everyone is gravitating towards Electric Picnic, because it is more civilised and with it. Super-duper Irish music blog Nialler9 has posted the possible line-up.

For musical tards like me it just reads like a big who? who? who? who? who? but seriously, it’s just too much energy to keep up with modern music in a public way. I wish I didn’t have to use that catch-all all the time, you know the one, the “That would be an ecumenical matter” for music:

“It’s not as good as their old stuff.”

Music buffs will always nod sagely to that one, regardless of if it’s a bands first album. They’re too terrifed that the members were part of some other group that they’re not aware of. Gets one out of sticky situations all the time.

The splash page at www.electricpicnic.ie at the moment is fucking sweet.
