Good news for Sophie Merry and other Irish YouTube stars - the YouTube partner program launched yesterday for Ireland, meaning that big-views grabbing Irish people can now get some monetary compensation for their work. This is fantastic news. From the YouTube blog:

Here’s someone filming as they sit in a car that is apparently doing 120mph through the port tunnel.

Due to it being one of the most camera heavy locations in the state, I can only assume that it was a stolen car. Or else they’re really stupid. Or maybe the people running the tunnel are really really stupid and this kind of thing is ignored?

A youtube user has edited the angelus (calling it the ‘Propagangelus’) and pointed out, helpfully, in bright yellow writing, the people in it that appear not to be Irish. (To pass the test you must be white.)
